Surveyor was funded through the JPL office formerly known as the
Office of Space Science and Instruments, which is currently
known as the Space and Earth Science Program Directorate,
under the direction of Arthur Zygielbaum, Amy Walton, and Samuel
Gulkis.
Funding was provided by the National Aeronautics and Space
Administration's Office of Space Science and Applications,
Solar System Exploration Division, Information Systems Branch, under
the leadership of Joseph Bredekamp and Glenn Mucklow.
Additional funding was provided by IMAX corporation in collaboration
with the Solar System Visualization Project, Dr. Eric De Jong,
Principal Investigator, and by the CASA Gigabit Network Testbed California
